The Shimano SM-RT86-S Ice Tech 6-bolt rotors can be fitted to all our mountain bike disc wheel sets.
Shimano ICE Technology uses an innovative 3-layer clad rotor system to reduce heat levels in the disc brake rotor. This helps reduce heat induced brake fade and leads to increased rotor and brake pad life. The steel braking surfaces sandwich an aluminum core which allows heat to dissipate from the braking surface efficiently.
At Hunt we have extensively tested the SM-RT86 rotors during the development of our mountain bike wheel sets and have found them to increase performance over a standard steel disc brake rotor.
Rotors can be ordered in pairs when you place a wheel order and are available in the following configurations; 160mm(F&R), 180mm(F&R), 180mm(F)/160mm(R), and 203mm(F)/180mm(R).
For all orders exceeding a value of 100USD shipping is offered for free.
Returns will be accepted for up to 10 days of Customer’s receipt or tracking number on unworn items. You, as a Customer, are obliged to inform us via email before you return the item.
